I recently had a terrible experience at Jane's Beauty Supply that I need to share. I asked the…read moremanager for assistance in finding shoes in my size and style, only to be rudely told "no." When I asked if her co-worker was available, she lied and said no, even though I saw the co-worker shortly after. I approached the co-worker and got another rude "no." Frustrated, I decided to move the mannequins myself to look for the shoes. The manager then told me, "Ma'am, you cannot do that. We close at 8:15 p.m." even though the sign on the door clearly states they close at 9:00 p.m. And my question was asked at 8:37 p.m.My response was, "Evidently, you can't either. Since you won't service me, I'll service myself, and you can wait for me to clean it back up!" This is completely unacceptable customer service and false advertising about their closing time. I will be reporting this to the BBB. Count your days, Jane's Beauty Supply.

It's weird because she charged me more than what her neighbors did. I am upset that I got duped and bought a wig there, then drove down the road to buy a wig at a better place. Then the clerk stated that the item was purchased too long ago, however their own policy does not put a time limit on a store credit. Further adding insult was the rude manner in which I was addressed. The customer service was very poor. It is unacceptable to service a primarily African American clientelle and yet provide subpar services. We have other choices. I won't be back and I suggest that others find a place to do business that will ALWAYS treat the customer with respect, not simply when they are collecting money.
