I bought a gift certificate online for this specific location and they refused to accept it yet admitted they were aware they were for sale. I hadn't been there before so I went ahead and paid it because it was a very awkward situation. Terrible! I ordered a bunch of food delivered. One of the items was 10 MILD wings. But they actually taste like they were soaked in straight franks red hot sauce. When I called to see if they were possibly made wrong, I was told that they just make their mild really spicy and too bad. When I disputed this, the "manager" got irate and told me I was "blacklisted". No problem, the food is barely mediocre to begin with and the "manager" is a joke read more

I have lived in the Highland Square area for a little over a year and eaten Your Pizza a few times and its always been great. We usually add on wings or jojos at the last minute because these are pretty good too. Employees are nice and didn't flinch when I called to change my order...twice. read more

This place used to be really good. I don't know what happened but lately it is disappointing. The jojos seem super salty. The cheese on the cheese-steak is not as creamy as it used to be and you need a microscope to see the sausage on the pizza. Last time we ordered a cheese-steak they put lettuce and mayo on it. Ugh. Think I will give this a place a pass from now on. There is a Pizza Hut, Marcos, East of Chicago and Papa John's all within 5 minutes which all seem to be a better value and product. read more

I really like this place. Very good pizza and subs- some of the better subs in Akron. BBQ Joni's are s tasty twist on a local food.

My definition of a hole in the wall. The outside of the establishment is nothing fancy or extravagant. Even the inside seems dull and awkward. But the pizza is phenomenal. I live just 1 block down the road. Eat here quite frequently. Their chicken and Jojos are also amazing. Everything is made well and priced well. How they manage to make such amazing food in an awkward unappealing place is beyond me, but I'm not complaining. I recommend this pizza shop to everyone I know above all others. I cannot say enough good things about Your Pizza Shop ! My stepdad was in icu at a local hospital out of their delivery area . My sister called in to order and once they found out our Dad was in icu they went ahead and delivered to us ! They even wrote Get Well Soon with a smiley face on the pizza box ! This pizza is not good. The mushrooms tasted like they came from a can and the crust tasted like cardboard as did the breadsticks. The breadsticks should have been free with the purchase as I signed up for the e-club but the manager would not accept the coupon since he hasn't "heard of the offer". A franchise owner should know that they need to follow the company's promotions especially if the location is on the coupon. It wasn't worth the fight tho. I will not be eating here again. read more

My family and I have always supported local business! However, as of today we will no longer support this place! We order from this place all the time. We placed a order for pick-up and when I got there on time the order was"nt ready. I was told by the owner that it would be in 8 min.. I then waited until another worker brought my order to the window. At this point in time I asked the worker if We could get a dipping sauce for the wings! He graciously put a small pk. inside the bag. That"s when the owner says to his employee to charge me for it. He then went on a rampage saying I was rude to him when he told me about the 8 min wait! His employee then looked at me like his boss is crazy! I could"nt believe that this was even happening lol. I would have gladly paid for the sauce. I was so miffed at the owner I told him I don"t want this order no more! I requested my money back! He then turns to me and tells me to go F- off and get the F- out of there! I then gladly cussed his ass out and put his ass in his place! I could"nt believe how badly the owner conducted himself at his place of business! He clearly does"nt care for the people that support his business so I will not longer support him! The owner prior to this owner was much more nicer and a better business owner! read more

the pizza tates pretty good, but they are overpriced, they never have a special, other places sell large pizzas for $10 or less, a large 2 topping pizza here will cost almost $20, it doesn't taste any better than other places, I don't see the justification for high prices and never any sales, I only got to them because they are close, but I should go to dominoes more often just for the price, offer some pizza deals and I will become a regular customer, staff is very friendly read more

I've lived on the West side of Akron for most of my life, barring a few years out of state and a few living in Europe. I would have to say that food is my biggest hobby. So i walked in here not knowing what to expect as I have never been in here before and found a diamond in the rough. It being July, the place was about 115 degrease, and these guys where running around busting ass making pizzas. Not only did they load my large half extra-cheese-half-sausage-banana peppers with extra extra cheese, but with extra sausage as well......I wasn't supposed to tell any one. The sauce wasn't like any of the regular pizza joints and the crust had a brushing of a light garlic butter. I had to wait in the car because the place was so hot and the guys ran it out when it was ready, well under the quoted 20 minutes. All in all, I will be ordering from this place from now on. I hope this review helps and we can keep Your Pizza Shop in the neighborhood for a while. read more
