Add that to a move from Atlanta to LA - it's tough to know who is legit. So when trying to find a photographer, we asked for recommendations from her agents, friends in the Industry, other parents - I even searched photos on IMDB that I liked and researched the person credited for the photo. After all of the recommendations, I began looking through various websites. Next I contacted the photographers based on the photos to determine fit. We chose Keli because she was engaged from the beginning. We initially spoke over the phone and her warm personality came through. She asked me questions about my daughter and what we were looking for (e.g. commercial, editorial, etc.). Keli asked me text a photo of my daughter. Based on her picture she explained her vision for the shoot from beginning to end. We really enjoyed working with Keli as she is really hands on from the moment you contact her. As other reviewers have said, Keli recommends wardrobe choices that really make the pictures pop off the screen. There are several things that make her stand out: - she does allot of pre-work before the shoot (wardrobe selection, makeup artists, etc) so the time can be spent actually taking photos. - Keli makes quality recommendations based on all budgets. She suggests baller on a budget to money is no object. - The photo shoot was fun! She played music and my daughter had a great time (the essence of her personality, what she was thinking/her expressions were all captured). - She sent the photos in a link directly to her agent.
