I've never had a bad pedicure here. The polish is beautiful and best of all, it STAYS. So many other places, the gel will peel off within a week or two. Also, I had a partially damaged nail that the technician rebuilt before painting and it looked great! The massage chairs are very comfortable. read more

John and Kelly are great! I got a basic pedicure and manicure with gel and designs. It was $85 which is extremely reasonable compared to other places. Make an apt vs walking in. Friendly people. read more

So... I don't even want to give one star to this place! My friend and I made an appointment at the same time for a pedicure. We went in with high hopes that it would be a fun time. We entered the business and it was really not that pleasing to the eye. Some of the chairs looked super dingy and dirty. And there was this weird odor... not the nail polish or anything like that. The water wasn't really all that warm and the 2 workers, a man and woman, were completely unorganized. Not to mention, when she started on my toes, she took a toe nail clipper and clipped them tooooooo short. My toes were almost bleeding from how close she cut them. And then, with the cuticle cutters, she went too deep on my big toes on the outside. She also didn't let my feet soak with the cuticle oil. (I get my nails done regularly, so I know the order.) Not files used at all!!!The guy then did my massage and scrub, if you can even call it that. It felt like he didn't even want to do it. He also had another customer come in and gave her far more attention than me. I'm assuming she was a regular... I could tell the woman was trying and maybe even attempting to care. She finished my pedicure with the polish which was kind of messy. My friend and I, literally, texted the entire time because we didn't want to say anything to them and possibly worsen the experience. So, in short, don't go here! It's not worth the money or the time. The only positive was spending with my friend. read more

These reviews do not do them justice. They have completely renovated with new chairs, equipment, etc. They are the sweetest nail salon I have been to in Norfolk. They care for their clients and have the most options for color I have seen anywhere. The reason I took off one single star is because I do agree that sometimes they get so busy that they rush through your nails. read more

Made an appointment for nails and pedicure all went well until more people came in for their appointments and they went back and forth with me when I got my nails done. I sat for 15 minutes waiting for them to come in back and finish my nails. Really bad service and very expensive read more

My $40 pedicure and my guest's $35 pedicure (difference was polish or no polish) were just overpriced in my opinion. Granted, I'm not from the area... But any nail salon that I've ever been to charges $30 for the absolute bare minimum "spa pedicure" and this was more basic than the most basic I've ever experienced. There is no menu or pedicure options, no posted prices, no drinks offered or even available (despite me calling ahead and asking if they serve wine with their pedicures, as I'm accustomed to being offered, and I was told yes). I called and asked if I needed an appointment and was told I could come then. I said "Ok, there are 2 of us and we're 5-10 minutes away." When I got there, the same person I spoke to on the phone tried to tell us they couldn't accommodate us (an hour and a half before closing) and when I told him that I'd just called and was told to come on, he had me verify the phone number to see if I called the right place. I was only offered gel when the woman saw I already had gel on from my last pedicure. It was just a really mediocre experience, to say the least. They were very busy, but it's a small place. Seems they have a lot of regulars. They're nice enough people... but I personally wouldn't go back. read more

Not pleased with how my manicure turned out. The lady doing them even apologized without me mentioning anything and still charged me!! Shellac all over my cuticles! read more

I made an appt for me and my two other friends, it was a first for two of us and our other friend had gotten acrylics done before (not here). there was only the two of them, man and woman. we got the feeling as they were tired and done for the day, and they proved it. we all got very simple designs and our nails now look like a little kids color page, lines weren't straight and the effort for a good finish wasn't there. not to mention how rough they were with our hands (i had to pull away twice bc my cuticle hurt so bad, and later realized when i got home they were cut open) we wanted to give them a chance, and it was their last one. read more

Three of us just showed up for pedicure and nails. They did a great job. Went to the mall before and it was so bad. We are now going to be regulars here. My sister never had a pedicure before and now she is hooked! This is the best place ever. read more

I think they do a great job! It's only the 2 of them working, so you might have a little wait, but just sit & relax a bit! Very nice people & do excellent work! She's very created with the designs! read more

I went to lee nails for a pedicure. They asked me to make an appointment. I came back at that time. I sat soaking with no indication that anything else was going to happen for over 20minutes. The guy was doing fingernails and didn't even acknowledge me as a left. So disappointed!! Horrible service. Don't ask patrons to make appointments if you disregard them!!! read more

Very disappointed in my experience at Lee's Nails. I made an appointment on Friday. Once I arrived, I was told to have a seat. They finally started on my nails 15 minutes after my appointment. The lady didn't bother to remove color that ended up around my nails. I woke up the next morning and the shellac was already coming off. I couldn't do anything about it that day because I had to leave for my grandmother's 80th birthday party. They're closed Sunday. I went today (Monday) over my lunch break. I explained what happened and said I wanted my money back. I was told that's not possible, but they could redo them. I said I didn't want another crappy job. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but I feel the need to this place was awful . First they tried to put nail polish that was clumpy on my nails and when I asked to change it they were rude about it. Also it looked as though a 2 year old painted them. We made appointments as this was for a wedding and very disappointed with the results . read more
