Ledges Chiropractic is a great place to go for an adjustment. The doctor and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the building and rooms are clean and private. Beginning I had no idea what all a chiropractor could do, and everything has been explained to me from the nervous system to what adjustments will effect which function in my body. X-rays are very important to get an idea of what is going on with your neck and back vertebrae, and I was shown exactly what the doctor was going to work with me on in those X-rays. After my first adjustment I could immediately breathe better and I knew exactly why that was happening. I'm 3 adjustments in and my well being has already improved, because I feel better since my body is functioning better. Before coming to Dr. Childs, I always had some lower back pain going back as far as high school. Since finishing college and now sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, my back pain has gotten significantly worse over the past 3 years. I have been going to Ledges Chiropractic for 3 months now and my back hasn't felt this good in years. The first appointment takes about an hour while they do their examinations and also walked you through what they see on the X-rays. After the first one, the appointments only take about 5 mins. This place is terrible. They try to talk to you into xrays you do NOT even need for $400 each time, make you come multiple times per week, which is $40-60 per visit. If you do not have insurance DO NOT GO HERE!! All they want is your money, they are professional scam artists!!!!!!! I was 22 years old and they treated me like I had a spine of a 90 year old with Scoliosis. They are also very religious, and me not being, I felt as if their 'faith' was also being pushed upon me.
