This was to be the meet-up spot with some folks to share the day, and on to Lake Eildon NP. Right there as one rolls into town, along Grant street is a long large park that has as part of it a nice creek, which adds to the rustic charm of it all. Picnic tables located throughout, with a gated playground for children. This is a quiet, very relaxed town park, with hardly any noise spotted outside of the creek itself.
