I personally have found their care and concern for customers to be subpar. Avoid this place if you truly value and cherish your furry children.

When we returned to pick our dogs up we were informed that the groomer was out walking two of them and when they pulled on the leash he let go of them. One of our dogs was obtained and returned to his kennel. The other one was found dead alongside the road later that evening. They still charged us for boarding and all they did was offer an "I'm sorry." We made the terrible mistake of boarding our remaining 4 Jack Russells with them this month (December 2012) while we traveled out of state for a week. Once again when we returned to pick our dogs up we were told one of them had come up missing the day after we dropped them off. We were never called to inform us that she was missing. The part-time vet was out walking her and claims he let go of her leash when it became tangled around his legs and she got loose. They claim they searched for her until later that evening, but she was never found. Here, we return a week later to find that she is missing and they have done nothing to find her since then. I spoke to the part-time vet and he cannot explain his incompetence. He was very quiet and hesitant to offer any explanation for his actions. We are still searching for our missing dog to date. I would not recommend anyone to leave their pets in the care of this facility. We have lost 2 dogs due to their inability to properly care for our pets.

She had not been outside. They said if it was a emergency that I still had to have an appointment. Which makes no sense. I took her to chillicothe vet hospital, she had CHF, and I lost her the next day. So no she did not get over heated. Also, when Doc had the place it was affordable. It is far from that now. I suggest the vet at Chillicothe vet hospital, they actually care and will get you right in for a emergency.

Came in for an emergency c-section on day 60 they said she's not ready come back when she shows signs of ready. I came back on day 64. They take my dog to the back don't even let us come back there and see what's going like any other vet I've been to. Make me wait 3 hours don't come out and say anything to me until I had to go in and ask what's going on. They tell me oh she had no puppies, and then continue well she had 1 but she wasn't breathing we tried everything for the longest. So they don't even come to update me or nothing they just came and asked me if I wanted to spay her so we did and now she's been whimpering in pain. Keep in mind the pup was already out but never once did they let me know what was going on until I asked. I didn't even get to see my puppies don't know if they were lying about it being born dead could imagine since they made me hold up on opening her. But idk what to believe the way they moved here makes me feel like they took my puppies and money. Such a horrible experience here and oh the girls at front are soo stupid dumb little girls. Don't come here please they just take your money and don't communicate with you.

I called this office for the first time, for a first appointment for our 6 month puppy. The receptionist was at first pleasant when answering the phone. But after asking some questions that were answered back from me pleasantly, she asked, "If she could have the previous vet name" (of a vet we had only seen one time) "to request records from that vet." I stated that we were looking for a second opinion and would rather not have records sent. This receptionist then kept disrespectfully pushing saying that they would need those records. I again politely said "No, we will not be doing that and to please treat us as a New patient." The receptionist again said that "they would have to have these records and asked where were they located?" Again I now sternly said, "No I will not do that and to treat us like a new patient for our 6 month puppy." She then put me on hold to as she said, "look to refer me to someone else because they were going to have to have those records." While she had put me on hold, I then hung up. This lady obviously has major personal and emotional controlling issues regarding rejection, even when it had nothing to do with her personally. I then called Twin Oaks, the next Vet in town and had a very different and pleasant experience. Not only was their office more professional but Twin Oaks also has an older more experienced Dr. Mark.
