He has been going there for the past 10 years with no issues until this visit. There was a new person that couldn't answer one question, as it appeared he went from a size D to EE per the card on file. All he needed to know was if there was a size E, as he was confused as to why he would skip a full size, but this lady couldn't answer that question, she didn't want to take the time to listen to what he was trying to say and kept interrupting which can be very frustrating for the customer when you simply want them to listen and understand what you are trying to relay. He asked if the gal that has been working there available, she said she is no longer there. He again tried to find out if he could get an answer if there is a size between the D and EE. She could not answer that question, he stated in a polite manner she is stressing him out and she replied "sir, you are stressing me out and I want you to leave now". I myself currently working in medical field and customer service in the past know that is not how you handle a customer, especially one that has been a loyal customer for 10 years. The next day I called to speak to management and it appears she was informed incorrectly. She was told there were three customers in the store stating my friend was rude. Well, yes, there were three, myself, my friend and one other. This store is small so not difficult to see how many are there. There was an employee in the back. To top it off, the manager actually allows the employee that was unprofessional to get on the phone an start arguing with me. I explained this is exactly what happened yesterday, she is not wanting to listen and help alleviate the issue but rather cause the issue. I stated I will be contacting the general/district manager and both started laughingly. This place is run by very unprofessional people. No professional manager would ever hand over the phone to an employee and allow them to talk to a customer the way I was talked to today.

I was initially looking for a shoe or bag repair shop to rivet my PoGo cap back strap. I was getting annoyed by my cap's back strap constantly splitting. This amazing, kind, and hospitable shop repaired my cap strap by installing an antique-colored rivet that was more than perfectly repaired my strap permanently. Mario, the owner personally did the amazing repair. I noticed that the store not only had repair service but had a nice display of everything leather including shoes and wallets. I was already thinking a few days ago to go online to replace my old coin purse and wallet. My gut was determined to find replacements at that store and was able to find the best possible replacements. Their total pricing for my repair and purchases was absolutely reasonable. I thank God for having this store just a couple of miles from my hotel. I heard from Debbie, the store owner's wife that their shoe repair shop and store is the only one from within a 100-mile radius! Even though they are usually very busy, and things may take awhile to be repaired, they have always had our stuff ready when they said it would be ready. He kept a pair of my husband's cowboy boots in fabulous shape with repairs & resoles for 30 years, and then told him when the boots had been repaired too many times, and the repair wouldn't work or last. Mario always shoots straight with you about whether it can be repaired and whether it should be repaired. In addition, they carry all kinds of new leather products. Even if we had another option, we wouldn't go anywhere else!
