The carburetor and fuel system was cleaned and various adjustments were performed. UPDATE AFTER SHOP OWNER RESPONSE…read more Nice try. I brought it back 7 days later with the receipt and was treated poorly. The saleswoman brought it back to the owner who refused. I tried to reason with them for a return or.credit and was denied this simple courtesy. Pretending to be courteous here doesn't change the review or my opinion of your shop. I would advise anyone to skip this shop. - - - - I purchased about $100 worth of fabric and notions a couple of weeks ago. I bought a seam ripper, too. I paid about $11 for it. When I got it home and took it out of the package I found that the point of it was dull, chipped, and it didn't work. I took it back with my receipt and was told that since I had taken it out of the package they couldn't resell it, so no refund or exchange. Wow. Obviously they don't want return business. Just imagine how you get treated if you buy a sewing machine from them and have a problem. It never occurred to me that a business would care so little about customers. Obviously I'll be shopping at the Fig Leaf instead, where they are friendly and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.

When the guys showed up, they were friendly and personable. We offered to help them move some of the furniture but they said they were alright. Of course they did ask Chris (my uncle) about what his preferences were for the heavier furniture and OK'd everything before they began. My girlfriend and I, Chris, his wife, and three daughters went out to get a bite to eat and spend some time in town while we waited for the job to be done. When we got back, the carpet looked great! Both sets of stairs were done. The rooms smelled and looked clean, and the worst stains in the basement were gone! The carpet also dried quickly, too, so they must've used some of that more advanced technology with less water. I'm impressed! And since I'm being more active with my Yelp account now, I figured I'd give these guys a good review. Definitely give these guys a whirl! As I understand it, they also have a guarantee, so... you can only win. Plus, their friendliness and professionalism showed me that they really mean business.
