Paid $3600 for gutters to replace the failing gutters which were on the house. Their amateur salesman showed up and still tried to sell us the installation after my wife said go ahead. He didn't listen.
The installation was delayed for two weeks due to weather with no notice from the company about the delays except for the day before the installation was scheduled for. When the truck showed up they took two days to install. Then the problems started. The front gutter was put up and there was a 3"+ gap between the top of the gutter and the roof edge. Looked sloppy! So I told them to fix it. Their fix was to add white flashing behind the gutter which made it look worse. I told the installer the gap looked sloppy and he started to fix it again. This fix was to remove some screws from the gutter and then bend the gutter up so the 3" gap was made reasonable. The other end of this gutter looked okay above the driveway but was not nearly as bad. The installer didn't listen.
They installed two "patches" with the excuse they would help with water drainage during heavy rains. Makes the gutter look fat and the attachment screws stick out like sore thumbs and it looks like they simply repaired a bad section of the gutter. Looks sloppy.
The attachments from the gutter to the downspouts are gapped, looks sloppy. The installer simply attached the downspout in any way which suited him. Did not look like that on the back of the house which was done by their amateur salesman.
On one end of the back there is a drain pipe the downspouts were put it and they installed an adaptor to connect their oversized downspouts to the pipe to unsure proper drainage. On the other end of the house the just jammed the old connector I had into their oversized downspout which was connected to an old piece or downspout to carry water away from the deck. Again, sloppy work and the water leaks out where I didn't want it to go.
There are satellite TV cables tie wrapped to the downspout in the back of the house which they cut loose when they installed their new oversized downspouts. They failed to reattach them and when I called them out on this their fix was sloppy and half done. They looked like they were in a big hurry to leave.
I called their office later to ask for a real representative to come out to see what I was complaining about. I was assured I would get a visit. Now some five or six weeks after I have been promised a visit to address the issues, I found out today 1/20/16 that the installation chief is in another town some 4 hours away and it might take several more weeks before he would be available.
