Not actually Locquirec, but just down the road in St Michel En Greve. Should you be holidaying in the area, this is an absolute must-visit restaurant.
During the day, the Voile de Cuir is a saddlery but in the evenings it has around half a dozen tables set out in very a cozy, rustic room, with lots of quirky french quotes scattered around the walls.
The proprietor, Jean-christophe, and his family are incredibly welcoming. We even got a guided tour of the workshops and the wood-fired oven he was building while we waited for our meals.
The food is all locally sourced and organic and the steak (cooked in front of you on a charcoal stove in the middle of the dining area see picture) is to die for. The portions are also very generous.
By far the best restaurant we found in the area if not the whole country!
