I stumble on a window, with the best jacket in the world. I enter. The jacket didn't fit, but the owner, Elise's warm personality and skilled eye did. She pushed me to try on things I would normally avoid. I walked out with a jacket, two seaters, some pants, a creative scarf that was unlike anything I'd seen, and even a pair of sunglasses whose accents complimented my nose piercings. I will be brief: pants I bought, fell apart almost immediately (wore them twice and the stitching came apart, the fabric became really pilly and looked like I had them for a year). I repaired them but they just kept falling apart. They offered to replace them and then stopped replying emails when it came to actually arranging it. I'm surprised to have encountered such unprofessional service from a long-standing shop like DG. I bought these pants not because I needed them but because I wanted to support Canadian Fashion (as a Canadian who no longer lives in Canada). It was definitely another time when Minks were so popular especially of that generation! My mom wore them during special occasions during the cold season and I remember it well as a boy! A friend of mine inspired me to make something out of it as he had upcycled a leather coat into pillows! So I brought them to a renowned Atelier boutique in Montreal called Harricana, who specializes in "UpCycling furs!" After 4 months they finally finished! 2 very different coats... Mink & Sable, were cleaned, recut, and redesigned to give it a new life as a new spectacular Mink throw! It's going to be a perfect Christmas now! Thank you Celine and Harricana!

I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled.
