What a fantastic little gem of a restaurant!
Located on a little square down the hill from the incredible Hautefort château, the location couldn't be more adorable and convenient for anyone visiting this medieval village.
We luckily booked a table in advance for the lunch service thanks to the reviews on Yelp and were so happy we did as we scored the last table on the terrace and perhaps the last table for the service as scores of people were turned away after our arrival.
They have several prix fix lunch menus but we opted to order à la carte. I had the tomato-crumble crusted cabillaud served on a fresh bed of ratatouille and drizzled with a cream reduction that was a lovely, light(isn) dish for the super hot day. My husband had a burger topped with a slice of fresh-seared foie that was delicious/super intense, but it was my mom's duck hachis parmentier that was the clear winner of the table.
The also have a great kids menu with the largest and most delicious portion of fries and chopped steak my kid has ever been served!
The service was super professional and extra sweet.
Definitely not a place to be missed when exploring the area, just be sure to reserve in advance. read more
