I got the 3 homemade meatballs with rice which actually was pretty good. No complaints and the flavor is there. My wife got the free range chicken dish with tarragon sauce which she enjoyed the sauce but wouldn't give it 4 stars. My son got the kids pasta with ice cream which he of course enjoyed. They don't serve tap water, so not sure if that is a Belgium thing. All in all, decent food considering the hour. I would just give it 3 stars. Nothing fancy.

Decor inside is art nouveau and there is a big terrace out the back, service is reasonably good. The food however whilst being ok, really does seem to miss something. The onglet was indeed a good cut of meat and the fries good but the sauce just missed flavour, the same for the bouchees a la reine, meat was good, sauce was missing flavour. Between the half-hearted welcome by one server, great service from another, extremely mediocre and quite frankly completely over-priced food... I had read about the famous croquette de crevette... goodness, what a ball of mush with what can only be described as carbonade style sauce oozing out of a very uncrispy covering. The side dishes served with the main courses were so sad. We arrived hungry and left very unsatisfied... Then there was the chef who decided he preferred to hang out drinking and smoking with his buddies on the terrace after closing the kitchen early (11pm? anyone??).... not to mention the pathetic serving of limoncello we received (€7.50, are you kidding me? for one mini mouthful? La Honte!) to replace the dessert we could not have as (again) the kitchen was closed and no one even bothered to propose us anything or warn us this was the case... Almost 300€ for 4 people? We weep over what we could have done with that money elsewhere....
