The modern version of mountain-lodge and Gites, what it used to be in the past, aside the road to the "Pas de la Cayolle" (Mountain-pass). National Park "le Mercantour" invested in a renovation and now it is a beautiful Hotel / B&B. The owners are very hostfull and help with whatever you need. Rooms are clean and spacious, 'chill-room / library and instruction-room available. Restaurant is a bit too 'bright lighted' and sterile in when dark outside but at daytime it has a great view on mountains and is pleasant. Hotel / hut is a good startpoint for all kind of hikes - summer / winter - . The hamlet and valley behind hut into the mountains is a nice place to wander through. Go see it. read more
