When in France...you want to have some good food! This place hit the spot...we searched days for food with this quality but luck wasn't on our side until a friend took us here.
Place is quite small, we had a party of six and the biggest table was right next to the kitchen. Which wasn't a big problem at all because you can smell the delicious food that's about to come out.
Everything smelled as good as it tasted. We started with a small anchovy salad. I'm usually not a big fan of fish but it tasted very fresh and was quite good.
Appetizers:
Bone marrow - cooked to perfection
Razor clams - the garlic sauce was amazing and so good with bread
Shrimp cocktail salad - this was okay
Entrees:
Duck confit - cooked perfectly, crispy and had great flavor
Sea bass (I think) - this looked good and wasn't too bad but there was a lot of bones too much work for me
The only complaint was that there were quite a few little fruit flies flying around by our table. Maybe it's the cause of being seated too close to the kitchen? But I think that was the biggest table they had. Servers were nice and attentive. Overall it was a great experience. read more
