They do a mix of parties, theatre, exhibits, take part in festivals - all that at reasonable prices, you pay a 2€ membership fee per year because it's an association plus either pay what you like (often for parties) or a set ticket price for plays etc. The venue itself is worth going for, a former public wash and bath house, still complete with vats for washing clothes and an industrial feel. The monthly Arm Aber Sexy party is great (first Saturday of the month), the people are a queer-hetero-hipster-alterno mix, which makes for a great atmosphere, the music is often good, ranging from electro to disco-ish. Absolutely recommended if you're looking for a queer-friendly party with a laid-back, dancy DYI feel (the drink selection is small but cheep and the speakers sometimes die at the end of the night) and you don't mind an early night (they close at midnight because of the residential area).

We asked why they wouldn't let us in, we were old enough, we all had ID's, we wore decent clothes and were barely tipsy, yet they denied us access. They had no real answer to our question, all they did was ask us to wait outside the line and after a good 10 minutes they admitted that we wouldn't get in, no matter how long we waited. We asked why, over and over again, yet the guards just shrugged their shoulders in a degrading manner and told us to go. We weren't the only ones who experienced this at all, several people were standing like question marks after having been told to wait outside the line for no proper reason. We asked around a little bit and some people said the guards were very selective, and that we should stand in the (very) long line AGAIN to try and get in. We didn't have the energy nor the mood to try again, which is why we headed the long way home, without getting even a single reason for being denied access to the club we were all so excited to go to.

This security is completely racist, not sure about the inside since my cousin and I couldn't get…read morein. I am colored skin but I have never been treated indifferent because of it until Friday night around 12a.m. As we approached the entry the security blocked us immediately and said it was full. My cousin and I were confused since it was early and I didn't even say anything yet that made it seem like I was foreign. We moved aside and noticed that they allowed everyone else in that was of lighter skin tone. The girls who would go in ranged in size, attire etc. but they were all white. I'm from New York City and have traveled around the world, yet never have faced this kind of issue. I am also Dominican, how can you discriminate people who speak the language, can actually dance and know the music? I do not recommend this Club at all and I will pray for these security guards.
