We were pleasantly surprised by Le Pain de la Bouche. From the outside, you see many odd decorations and ornaments. There are lots of flowers and over all it's very cute, perfect for a good photo opp The service was excellent. They were fast and kind, very patient with my only half-decent French. I got the fish and chips, which was great, my mother got the "falouche" (a stuffed pizza type thing), which if you are a fan of heavy cream is for you, and my father got the steak, which he says was "better than a Keg steak". I thoroughly recommend this place. It's very cozy and perfect for tourists. read more

Just a great place. Food is local, so when you enter you immediately smell Maroilles (a local cheese): be prepared! :) Food is served in nice portions (plenty of items with Maroilles... surprisingly? ;)), and service is friendly and efficient. I loved the interior decoration too. We had a great evening. read more

Franchement TOP ! Effectivement le décor vous fait vous sentir à l'aise. Ce n'est pas du réfléchis de chaîne franchisée. Il y a le boulot et l'esprit de patron et de vrai personne derrière. Coté bouffe, car ce n'est pas du gastro, je dis bravo, c'est de la bouffe plaisir avec des choses que l'on ne fait pas forcement à la maison. Plutôt copieux, mais raisonnable. Franchement si vous passez à Lens ou même à coté et qu'il n'est que 11:30, le temps de vous garer et vous adorerez. read more
