The concept is cute, with fresh fruits that you can also buy, and they use wooden spoons for stirring your drinks. I got a hot cocoa (3,50 euros) and it hardly tasted like chocolate. The drink also wasn't filled to the top, in an already pretty small cup. I loved the concept and the interior, but can't recommend the drinks - hopefully the food is a lot better!

I've been to the Oh My Biche in Columbier twice for brunch, but decided to try the special lunch…read moreitems at the Mail location. It's definitely not as well known and the inside is a lot smaller (only two tables inside) than the original Columbier location, but service is and ambiance are just as great. My friend and I went on a Wednesday at 12pm, and there were only two other parties sitting outside, so we got to snag the inside table. The owner, who I've noticed works at both locations, and a server were the only two workers in the FoH, but both were super sweet and explained to us the menu in English. I got the Mommy's Dwich (€10) and their famous Snickers (€5) and my friend got the Weekly special (White fish in a coconut milk with pumpkin puree and seasonal veggies - €9,50) and the cheesecake (€4). There was a hefty portion of roasted beef on top the open faced sandwich, with a nice hearty gratin sitting between the beef and the perfectly toasted brioche bread. It came with a side of salad and tartar sauce (which I didn't use). The portion, like all plates I've had here, was a little small for the price (and as I've mentioned in my review for the original location, I never leave this place full, but I always leave satisfied with my choices haha). The roast beef didn't have much flavor which I was a little sad about, but the gratin was delicious and creamy, and the brioche was also wonderful. The Snickers was amazing, and I can see why the description underneath is "The Famous One". They really recreated the snickers, but better. The bottom layer is a brownie/chocolate cake, and very nutty peanut butter cream sits on top, encased by milk chocolate with bits of peanuts, topped with a thick whipped cream and peanuts. I tried a bite of my friends cheesecake and it was very creamy and delicious. Wonderful cafe run by wonderful people and always serving amazing food.

I'm not a coffee drinker, and wasn't in the mood for a beverage, so I ordered one of their cookies to munch on while chatting with my friend. The cookie was €2,50 and was full of oats and chocolate. It was very soft and flavorful, and probably would have went perfectly with one of their artisanal coffees. My friend ordered the V60 drip coffee, which she says is probably the best coffee she's had in Rennes so far. The upstairs area is a little smaller than the ground floor, but it's quiet and has tables to study at. There's free water that you can help yourself to.

Tea selections were from Palais Des Thes - nicely spiced Chai, Infusion Du Louvre, black tea and tisane. Jambon and cheeses recommended to go with the tea offerings were fantastic, as were deserts. When we showed interest in the loose tea (which is not s'il there), the proprietor went through an entire box of teabags to give us samples we may like. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Rennes, France.
