Our tour guide brought our group here to browse around for food and gift items on our second-to-last day in Quebec. This is a nice, open market with various eateries and food stores. There was also what looked like a cooking school on the second level. Since we visited in December, some of the spaces also featured arts, crafts and gifts. Several of our party ate lunch but we just purchased some gourmet food items to take with us. We love markets like these over chain stores any day. read more

Located near our airbnb we decided to stop in and see what they had to offer. A very spacious, clean indoor market offering a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, wines, honey, jams, and jellies, meats and local products. There are vendors selling juices, smoothies, coffee and other food items. There was an artesian market going on during our visit. The space is very airy and modern. There is plenty of free parking. It's a nice place to stop in , explore and shop. read more

Very small market. Far from the main ville area. It was very dead and only a few businesses open.

Lots of choices for fresh vegetables, flowers, plants, and prepared foods. I purchased a lot of maple products, honey, a delicious latte, vegetables, a gorgeous quiche, imported delicacies, and some delicious Italian arancini balls and marinara sauce that I warmed up for dinner. A market for both locals and tourists, it is much better than the old one near the port (though, to be fair, I had visited in the winter). It doesn't have the history or weathered charm of Jean-Talon in Montreal, but it has free parking, ample space, and an airy light interior. I'll be sure to go every time I visit and can't wait to see what other businesses open up to fill it to capacity. read more

My family came here looking for many food options to dine in, but there were very few options--mostly desserts. The swirling pastry in the middle of the market and the pizza place were very good. All the other ones we tried were mediocre. read more
