I actually don't know how to review this place because my husband HATED it but I LOVED it. I…read moreoriginally saw it featured on The Fork and was eager to try it, even though it was on the complete opposite end of town. My husband ordered a terrine to start, and I ordered a tomato confit. Originally the waiter tried to tell him something about the rabbit terrine, but after realizing that French was not our premier language he just walked away. It still sort of haunts me- I can't help but wonder what he was saying. My tomato confit was okay, albeit a bit heavy in raw fennel. My husbands terrine honestly tasted like bland cat food. There was nothing redeeming about it at all, and he is very of terrine/pâté. For our main courses my husband got the duck, and I got the pasta with octopus. Yet again, my husband's was really not good. Unfortunately a lot of it was vastly undercooked... I'm not even saying it was a little too pink, it was so raw that it was cold and difficult to cut with a knife. By that point his spirit was completely broken so he didn't mention anything about it... instead we made a pact to get him some food afterwards. However, my pasta was AMAZING. The octopus was perfectly tender and it paired so well with the light tomato sauce. It was actually one of the better things that I had on our trip in general. So, there you have it... 3 stars because I had a 5 star time and my husband had a 1 star time.

I. Love. Miss. Lunch…read more First off, Miss Lunch herself is so... adorable! I once dined here by myself on a quiet Sunday afternoon and witnessed the staff in action - Miss Lunch and her server are truly a dynamic team. The staff overall is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful; they speak both English and French. I have visited Miss Lunch twice while staying in Paris, and both times have been fantastic. Her food is healthy and the flavors are bold and fresh. Her cuisine is inspired by the South of France with a unique twist. I have never seen dishes like Miss Lunch's on any other menu in Paris, see photos below! You can even buy the spices that she uses in shop - I bought a cute jar of Herbes de Provence with Sel de Camargue (regional sea salt) to bring home to my family. You can even buy a recipe book if you're a big fan of the food or even take one of Miss Lunch's cooking classes. Bottom line: Try Miss Lunch. You won't be disappointed!

From the restaurant manager's warm greeting to the final limoncello shot, I was delighted by the quality and creativity of the cuisine and the attentive service from the staff. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked. My dish, a take on the classic linguini al pesto, combined mint and pistachio, brought a fresh and summery sensation. The desserts didn't disappoint either, with a firm pannecota drizzled with red berries and coulis. My dinner companions were equally pleased with their tiramisu and lemon sorbet.
