I am very happy that I did. The buffet menu changes all the time and the quality of food that they have is very good. They also have specialty juices. I tried the a juice that combined orange, maracuja, ginger and honey. This juice was amazing. I will try another one the next time I come back. The price was quite expensive for a lunch so this won't be a weekly luncheon for me. Probably a monthly luncheon. They have a covered patio so on a nice bright day, this is the ideal place to come, relax and enjoy some good food.

The staff and friendly and slice meat with flair. Roll your wheel to red to halt the deluge of protein, salad, and pasta to catch up--the meat tastes better when hot. It's really hard to keep up with all the meat coming around but my suggestion is if you want to try everything, get a piece of meat and share it with your friends or ask for a smaller piece or else it's impossible to taste everything. The sushi spread is amazing. I've been to other buffets in the area that have sushi but it does not taste as fresh as Batel Grill. The drinks are really good as well, can't go wrong with a caipirinha or a juice. I love places like this as the options and variety here is very accommodating to anyone you can imagine. I only wish rodizios in the US were the same. Salad bar has many options, mmmmm palmito!! :) I recommend getting here early as it does get really packed. It appears to be smaller than Jardin's and not as nice in terms of overall ambiance but I will pick Batel Grill any day. Service was good and attentive, no complaints. Highly recommend this place!

A business trip to Brazil would not be complete without a visit to a Brazilian Steakhouse...the…read moreso-called "Churrascaria". Our very large group of 24 company associates descended on the Tropilha Grill for a little beef and brewski action. I really love how they keep the bottles of beer cold in a bucket of ice right in the middle of the table....especially when it is locally brewed Bohemia beer...my favorite. Once we placed our drink orders, we were settled in for a 3-hour experience with a wide variety of some of the best meats on the planet. Of course we started with the salad bar which included everything you could imagine including a full wing of sushi and sashimi. While the Japanese staple might be a surprise to many in a Brazilian BBQ, there were actually a lot of Japanese immigrants that came to Brazil after WW II. While Japanese are not the dominant ethnic group here, they definitely have a presence and the sushi underscores that fact. The salad and sushi were good but the various cuts of beef and pork barbecued on skewers were friggin' fantastic as always. The Tropilha Grill scores a solid 4.25 stars.
