5 stars A true culinary gem in Noirmoutier!…read more I traveled to Noirmoutier for vacation from Santa Cruz, California, and dining at La Maison des Toqués was one of the highlights of my trip. We enjoyed the four Toqués menu, and every dish was a thoughtful expression of flavor, creativity, and presentation. The evening began with an amuse-bouche that set the tone perfectly--delicate, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Each course arrived on uniquely designed plates that added to the visual and sensory experience. The attention to detail was remarkable. A standout for me was the duck dish. I normally don't go for duck, but this one changed my perspective completely--tender, rich, and perfectly balanced. The dessert was equally impressive: colorful, artfully plated, and absolutely delicious. Our table loved it so much that we asked to try a second dessert--and they graciously accommodated us! We also ordered two bottles of wine, both excellent, but the white Condrieu truly stood out--elegant, aromatic, and a perfect pairing for the meal. La Maison des Toqués delivers not only exceptional food, but also warm, attentive service and a relaxed yet refined ambiance. I highly recommend it to both locals and travelers visiting the island--this place is worth the detour.

The terras has a pretty view, the service is good and the food is delicious. Definitely try the mussels. They might be small, but the dishes are divine! Both the 'moules au curry' and the 'Estouffade de moules en façon jusant' (with chorizo, meat and tomato) scored a 10/10. The desserts looked amazing, but unfortunately we already ate too much to try them. But at first sight: you won't regret ordering a dessert at all!
