Should you go here? OUI, bien sur. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Montpellier. I recommend ordering off of the prix fixe menu. I loved sitting upstairs and overlooking the plaza- you know, like a perched cat. This was seriously one of the best meals I had in France and I implore you to stop in for a lovely taste of Montpellier. OMG - I don't know how anyone could rate this restaurant less than 5 stars! It is amazing. I had the foie gras appetizer & the beef with cèpes mushroom sauce. It was delectable & to die for. I was in heaven while eating. I will be back. The foie gras was creamy & delicious with the fig jam & toast. The beef was tender & perfectly cooked "a point" covered with the mushroom sauce and accompanied by a bit of potatoes, couscous and a bell pepper purée thing. read more

Excellent service- the waitresses were very attentive to our needs and patiently took the time to understand my limited French. The food was amazing! The duck had one of the best red wine sauces that I had ever tasted. The accompanying couscous and potatoes were cooked very well. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake and caramel ice cream (which literally had me "mmm'ing" out loud) and a crème brûlée which was apricot flavored. I was unsure whether or not the flavor of the crème brûlée would work since I'm not a big fan of apricot, but it absolutely did. It was light and creamy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others when visiting Montpellier! read more

The service was very friendly. The restaurant was unexpectedly quiet, with one other table occupied in addition to ours. My wife and i both started with a cream of mushroom soup, which was good. We both had beef for our main course. The beef was a bit overcooked. We finished with a chocolate cake which was great! All in all, a nice restaurant. read more
