The rooms are hostel-style, so they are good for big groups traveling, or for people who don't mind sharing a room with someone else. If it is during the non-skiing season, some rooms may be empty, so the owners are willing to let two people sleep in a 4-person room, which is what my wife and I did. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The bathrooms are shared, but very clean and easy to use. The only downside is that it's a little out of the way if you want to see or spend time in Chamonix. There is a bus stop right outside the B&B that takes you to the town, but you have to plan ahead to ride the bus, since the hours are not too frequent. If you have a car, this is no problem, though.

We loved the boutique vibe, the decor and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast every morning was the same, but a nice variety. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and there were nice apre ski snacks every day. There is a car shuttle which they will use to take you to the bus stop, dinner or into town (though town is literally 3 minutes from the hotel.) My only suggestion would be to have a ski shuttle which could take guests to the various mountains--La Tour is a 40 minute bus ride and its an 8 minute walk to the bus stop with your skis, boots etc. Overall, a lovely hotel in a good location.
