The best part of experience was our lovely, smiling waitress. If you are still under the impression that French service has to be snooty, come here for a fresh change of pace! The food was good - nothing too sophisticated that a talented home cook could do. The mussels got rave reviews around the table as did the oysters. I started with the raw trout and avocado which was refreshing but needed a bit more citrus to liven it up. Our mains were equally good. The lamb was tender with a nice layer of fat to keep it juicy! Everyone else had fish or cuttlefish with the turmeric risotto. The mains were also good although could have had a bit more attention to presentation. Coconut panna cotta also went down a treat! It's a nice spot for a decent meal. The atmosphere and service make it a keeper!
