The program does not change its level of competence…read more(style/strategy) the harder you go, but the dice just serve the computer infinitely better (doubles, doubles at the right time, reentry in inner facilitated, etc.) You pay, you learn nothing (except that Microsoft is a huge rip off which we already know), and you have no option but to comply to their "fate". When I play backgammon with a human being I am in the best 10% players, when I use Backgammon Pro, I am losing time and money.
