The reviews so far are pretty rough and maybe based a lot on personal preference. The vibe and decor is bright, airy and minimal. If that's not what you want for a night out, try it for lunch or go somewhere else. It's new and they're still working things out between the service and the kitchen speed/capacity, but our server gave us a heads up immediately and it honestly wasn't as long as I would have anticipated based on the warning and it being a new place. From what I can see, the staff was hustling and hopefully all will be worked out soon on that end. I have zero complaints about the food. I had half a Le Burger, half a Le Oignon, fries, cheese curds and a couple bites of the kale salad. All of it was really delicious. Especially the cheese curds. It's pricey if your frame of reference for a night out is 2017. They probably could throw in a few more fries for the price, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd go back. I enjoyed our experience and am interested to see how it evolves in the coming months.

The place is quaint and clean fresh I would say, the menu prices are way over priced. I mean it's a good burger, but I had the Le Royal, 23.50 it was not worth that, the bathrooms are clean, and soap and towels are available so that's a plus for me, it's just the prices. The fries were good, but $16 for fries and the sauce and cheese. Wow! My server Marla was great. Very attentive and nice. She was just a pleasant server. I can say enough about the service and the place is clean it has a little bar... so it's nice just really expensive. And I ordered a cocktail. It was really good and it had this little gherkin in it, Le Burger Martini.

Cool aesthetic for a burger joint, casual and open concept with minimal decor. I'm team minimalist. Everyone loved the little lamp, ketchup, and mustard. We had a party of 9 and 8/9 ordered burgers while I ordered the buffalo sauce wings. There's a dry rub option too. They're two weeks in so give them grace. Place was packed, staff was friendly, but there was a short wait on our table and the food. The server let us know and we were chatting so it went by quickly.

This place is super cute! We were able to get street parking close by and were seated right away. The brunch menu (weekends 11-3) is small but everything looked really good! We ordered three dishes at first for three people but they were pretty small portions (pretty good prices though ~$10-20 each), so we ordered an extra dish. Everything tasted amazing-- especially would recommend the Croque Madame and French toast! Really enjoyed the place and the service was great. Definitely would like to come back to try the dinner menu!

I'm really excited to see this place bloom. The concept is interesting. High level burgers , but displayed in a cheap-ish way. The burgers are delicious with really cool combinations for toppings. I was expecting the burger to be brought out in a cool display but it came on a simple tray. The cheese curds and ranch were great! And the home chips were really good. Pro tip: ask to swap out the sour cream based dip for the ranch. The decor is simple but the service is fast. I will be back in a few months after they've settled in.

I had a great experience at Le Burger in Cleveland. I ordered the Le Bœuf without bacon along with a Shirley Temple, and everything hit the spot. The burger was flavorful and well-cooked. Beyond the food, I really loved the concept of the restaurant. The ambience was very chic and stylish, making it feel elevated but still welcoming. Le Burger is a fantastic and refreshing addition to the Cleveland food scene, and I'm already looking forward to going back.

I really liked my meal! I got the Le Vegan and it was more like a falafel patty, which I liked. We got a kale salad which was actually really good! I was so impressed by the salad - the butternut squash in it was cooked just right! They ran out of cheese curds the day we went, but the server mentioned it's really popular!

Delicious burger, and I'm a burger snob. Highly recommend. Service was a little slow but worked out well and food was fresh. Cool ambience, beautiful green plants everywhere. We will be back.

Le Burger is a new restaurant in the vibrant Ohio City. The restaurant offers elevated burgers with a French accent. The restaurant is located in the former Pioneer space at Intro. I was mesmerized by the caviar atop burgers showcased on social media, pretty disappointed in person. AMBIANCE: It feels like a grown-up fast food experience with real place settings, napkins, a bar, and table side service. Light, airy, hints of orange and sky blue, trendy uncomplicated marketing. the music is mainly French rap or light reggae. The space feels modern like a casual, minimalistic cafe in Europe. Seating options include a bar, cushioned benches, and comfy chairs. The space well caters to large groups and singles. Tables are comfortably spaced to provide privacy. Probably more spaced than I've ever seen at other restaurants. During my early dinner (a little after 5 PM) the space was well filled with groups. FOOD: I really wanted to be impressed with the food but it was easily the worst part of my visit. The menu contains beef burgers, vegetarian/vegan burgers, plates, fries, curds, snacks, cocktails, mocktails, and soft drinks. The only elevated menu items are foie gras on burger and caviar with chips. I found it very hard to decipher this menu, the use of French and English feel awkward and not authentic to the culture, as do ingredient combinations. La Royale ($23.50) - I decided to try the most expensive burger on the menu with foie gras to get the best experience. Verdict - never again. The sesame bun and lightly picked pickles were good. Foie gras aplenty and tasty. The patty is advertised as wagyu beef. In reality, it is an overcooked smash burger (no prep level was asked). More cooked than well done. The burger was drowning in sauce (black truffle aioli) that also drowned all flavor. The sauce was spilling out and more sauce was delivered in an individual container. It tasted like elevated mayo. There was a river of this sauce. All in all, a very overcooked, and oversauced skinny burger. I even tried to eat ingredients with a fork individually but they were all too sauce smothered. Not at all worth the price. I would not order it again. Classique Pommes Frites ($6.50) - Burgers aren't accompanied by fries. The fries arrived in a package like McDonald's small fries - same size, concept, and different logo. The fries were extremely salty and I love salt. I couldn't eat more than maybe 5 fries. Individual small ketchup container was delivered which was a huge plus. There's never enough ketchup. DRINKS: Drink menu was very dull. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and 2 (!) mocktails. Considering the uprise of mocktail culture and given its Dry January that was a miss. I ordered Pamplemousse Kick ($8 mocktail). It was served in a small bourbon like glass. I couldn't finish the whole thing. It was one of those mocktails that is trying really hard to taste like alcohol - with a kick, spicy, and bold. The drink wasn't well balanced - too much tincture, it's a heartburn starter. SERVICE: The service is easily the best in Ohio City. You are continuously greeted, welcomed, menu is explained, and your experience is checked on. Many people are serving on you, maybe even too many. The bartender who was taking care of me provided extremely personalized attention and was kind. The only reason for my higher rating is exceptional service. There are a few very visible service flaws. There is too much staff in the restaurant - management, hosts, waiters, and kitchen staff. Most didn't have any tasks, there was a lot of anxious crowding. The management is really hovering over staff and it makes guests uneasy. There are many upsells during ordering that aren't necessary - offers to get alcohol or other drinks, and fries upsells. They feel not genuine and forceful. I also found issue resolution curious. I denied packaging the fries and mentioned that they're too salty. The offer was to remake them even though I was done with my dinner. The waiter promised to get them right the next time. I wasn't looking for a comp, it was more of a general statement of reality. I just didn't want to have anything to do with the fries. I was surprised they didn't themselves offer a comp instead promising to improve. It's a strange offer for a new establishment. I didn't care about the outcome and wasn't asking for anything, but I can absolutely see how it would derail with high expectations guests. Overall, the only aspect of my dining experience that really impressed me was the service. The food was very disappointing considering the high quality food in the neighborhood. Despite enjoying the ambiance and service, I'm not bold enough to try other items on the menu. I usually try restaurants a few times before abandoning but too many menu items derailed here for me. I'd rather go to other establishments in the area and enjoy better dining options. I really wanted to like the place and hope one day they'll improve.

Came to check out the new spot in town and left honestly confused? It seems like Le Burger cannot figure out its vibe. On one hand, they are trying to be an upscale, hip establishment with classy decor and a "fancy" (pricey) menu with fun cocktails; on the other hand, the food comes served wrapped in wax paper on a plastic fast food tray. It's giving.. McDonald's gets a makeover. In terms of the food, the burgers are quite tasty but nothing to write home about, and probably not worth their inflated price. The cheese curds came recommended by our waitress and they were definitely quite good, fried to perfection and deliciously crispy. The wait staff definitely seemed new and somewhat confused/inexperienced, which I cannot fault them for in a restaurant that has just started. Overall, I'm not sure if I would recommend this spot in terms of its price to value ratio. Maybe we will come try it again once they become more settled.

Burgers were good, fries were better, fish sandwich was good as well. Our server placed our order but forgot to put our fries in so our fries came out when our burgers were done. Wanted to try the wings but they were sold out. The manager gave us a gift card for the service issues. Nice staff and atmosphere. Would return.

Modern, trendy burger joint. With a small yet taste menu full of variety to please the palate. Good cocktail and draft beers on the menu and a good variety of vegan and gluten free options available. Burger was tender and tasty and the fries were seasoned excellently. Service and staff were extremely helpful and quick to replenish beverages / assist our table.

Very good! The onions add a sweetness unexpected on the burger. So good. Fries are perfect. Clean, bright, inviting.

Butterfly wallpaper, funky art, feather boas, and more. It honestly felt like we weren't in Cleveland anymore. As for the service, our bartender was awesome. He asked if it was our first time in and since it was, he explained the menu in detail and gave us suggestions based on what we tend to like. My friend went with a custom mocktail and I landed on the calla lily cocktail. It came with Watershed gin, lemon bitters, a sparkling white wine, and a few other ingredients I'm not privy to. It was strong, but smooth. It definitely left me curious to try more of the menu but alas, I don't live in Cleveland, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to return. It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. Don't expect big names but expect good music. You can find their lineup on their IG @smokeandmirrorscle. They're open on Thursdays for karaoke, and Saturdays for DJ and dancing. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14. I certainly plan to stop by during a regular weekend night to check out the full experience and DJ's. You should too. If you drop in, stop Clandestina bathroom for a selfie with flattering light. You can find the entrance to the Bird of Paradise by entering the Bright Side, following the pink arrow and going downstairs to the club. You'll enter a dim space that's giving tropical vacay and bird vibes. Think a bit of tropical wallpaper, neon accents, and feathered lamp shades. There are a few VIP areas to lounge in with vibrant velvet furniture. Most guests stand with overwhelming majority dancing and mingling. It's actually the most dancing I've seen at any local clubs. The club attracts really social and well-intentioned crowd. I met a lot of cool people during my visits here. Events at Bird of Paradise can be easily found on their IG @birdofparadiseohiocity. Don't expect to see any big DJ names, but the music is always good. They are open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only. Cover charge varies, usually $5-10, credit card only. They don't really state the cover charge on their socials or website, so it's always hard to tell what it will be. Dress code is very relaxed, most people arrive in casual attire. Drinks include a big selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. You can find most of their menu on their website. The bar is always very busy at all times. Personally, I found cocktails to be okay. I haven't found any cocktails at the Bird of Paradise that I was crazy about. At the same time, I love cocktails at the Bright Side. Service here is unfortunately very transactional. There's no warmth coming from anyone working here - door staff, bouncers or bartenders. That's really my only criticism of this establishment. Staff at the Bright Side is considerably more friendly and social. I wish that the experience would be consistent upstairs and downstairs. Overall, if you feel like dancing, head to the Bird of Paradise. You'll find a dance partner, everyone is always dancing. Check their Instagram for the latest events.
