    Never order from Le Mars Flower house!!! Ken Nelson is a…read morejerk! The gentleman called before delivery, but I didn't recognize the number, and he never left a voicemail. I googled the phone number to find it was a floral shop, knowing my daughter was getting a delivery from me. I called back, she said her husband tried to call and no one answered so he left on a delivery. She'll have him delivery it once he returns. An hour later I barely hear any knocking as my dog didn't even bark. I brought my daughter to the door with me. The guy was walking away, I said sir we're right here. He turns and says you'll be lucky if their not frozen. I said sorry about that. He got closer and repeats I've been knocking for quite some time and you'll be lucky if their not frozen. I said I barely heard your knock the last two times, sorry we were in the basement(where my living room is). He then says and you don't have numbers on your house(walking away with his back to me). I said that's my landlord not me. My daughter had to witness all that, and not even a thank you or have a good day. I will not be ordering from here again if that's the company that'll be doing the deliveries in this town. Completely rude customer service. Not satisfied at all. I called to complain to him about his delivery. I told him he was completely rude with his delivery and my daughter had to witness all that. He said what's the point of calling ahead if you aren't gonna be available to answer your door. I said you called ahead didn't leave a voicemail, so I had to go looking to find out who had called. He said he didn't leave a voicemail Bc he didn't like listening to the music for 2 min and no voicemail box came up. Ok so you can't do your job and leave a voicemail, he said I don't have to listen to music I don't care for. I said so you complain I don't have numbers on my house. My landlord never put them on there, that's not my problem, he said it is mine when I'm trying to deliver and don't know if I have the right house. I said really? Both my neighbors have numbers and obviously mines in between. I said my daughter was at the door with me as the delivery was for her, you couldn't even be polite while a child was present, my your service and business is horrible. He says you try being out delivering in this, we call ahead for what reason, and then they don't have numbers nor answer the door. I said ok I get it's cold, but you had a light jacket on, not zipped shut and no gloves, no hat not my problem, I had to look up your number and call back for delivery which was over an hour ago, so that's on you I'm not gonna sit by door all day, as for the numbers this isn't my house. My dog never even barked and she was two rooms away from the door, my dog always barks when someone comes to the door. You're not the only person doing deliveries and their service isn't a quarter of negativity that you have towards your job. Time to retire! He hung up. Rude!

    I placed an order on-line via Le Mars Flower House website, not thru a third party web company. I…read moream an out of state customer that chose to do business directly with a local florist for which I was ordering. I received an on-line confirmation of order placed, with a guarantee that it would be delivered on the date I selected. This was my order: Order Confirmation: 20986 Jumping for Joy - Standard: $35.00 Wire Fee: $0.00 Delivery Fee $10.00 Service Fee: $0.00 Mylar Balloon $7.00 Tax: $4.16 Total Order: $56.16 Deliver On: 2/6/2013 Gift Message: Happy Birthday to my lovely_____! Lots of Love, ____(& mommy & daddy) Special Instructions: If no one is home, please leave at back door Substitution Policy: In the event your selection is unavailable, a substitute of comparable quality and value will be delivered. The order was never sent. According to the woman that answered the phone, my order was the only order "not printed" via the Telefloral website (apparently, the Le Mars Flower House website is ran by a third party company, which is NOT noted on the web page). Thus, it was all telefloral's fault. The woman whom answered the phone began to belabor the point of "how it works when you order something on the Internet." I am an owner of a marketing and e-commerce company in Kansas City. I understand how e-commerce works. When I told her I didn't appreciate the tone she was taking and I expected that there would be something done to mitigate the damages done, she told me I needed to RE-PROVIDE my card information. Which, of course I declined, as I had already paid via their website the day before! She said they wouldn't place the order with out me submitting payment information again. I told her that the way she working with me is really not appropriate. She said "Well that's fine ma'am!" and hung up. I then called back and spoke with Ken, the woman's husband and owner. He was much more level headed speaking with me, but again offered no consolation for the order that was NEVER shipped and told me that I would need to provide payment again. Both the woman and Ken specifically claimed it was Telefloral's fault that the order wasn't placed. This has nothing to do with the issue. I placed the order specifically with LE MARS FLOWER HOUSE not with a third party Telefloral that was NEVER disclosed. I try very hard to do business with local companies, and I probably wouldn't have chosen to use this company had I known that. If they choose to use an outside service, that is their decision. However, blaming the outside company doesn't make me sympathetic to them! Regardless of whose fault it was for the flowers not being delivered (I personally think its LMFH fault) the company i gave my business to should correct it. End result: My flowers were never delivered! Let alone, never delivered on time.
