Additionally, the sun was setting outside, and the view was just gorgeous. I had a fixed menu that include lasagna, veal, and chocolate cake. Everything was well made and finely crafted. The chocolate cake with red berry sauce was out of this world! Highly recommend. It is fairly close to Lisieux if you are in the area. Prices are relatively reasonable compared to what you would pay for the same cuisine in America.

There is a catch though, only 2 choices for a starter and main course and maybe 3/4 for dessert. There is no a la carte dining here but the menu changes daily to take into account what they can get at the market. For the price I paid and the amount of courses I got, the food is slightly above average. Food is designed to be homestyle, quick, simple and filling and dear god it was. It is a lunch only place and is hugely popular with the working class of the area.
