The food proposed is interesting with nice combination (pasta pesto and calamar). I ordered a Tartare de boeuf and was really cut by hand and the chef come out to prepare it for me. The cost for food is correct. Moreover there are no mosquitos! Around Turin is a miracle. Definitely we will come back. The only difficulty is to park the car and to find the place as it is in the heart of the small village. Small update .... the fritto calamari is not even decent. It a an industrial pre-cooked fried calamari. It is a pity, definitely a big drop of the level. One star lost only for this. You cannot have in menu a 12 cereal tagliatelle and a so low level fried calamari.....

Just outside the city center of Aosta, this bakery/gastronomia, while small, has a good selection of freshly baked products at fair prices. Today I purchased two pieces of fresh baked bread, a cupcake, layered chocolate raspberry cream cake, an arancino (ball of rice stuffed with cheese, tomatoes, and peas and fried), bread stuffed with ham and tomatoes, and a small bag of dry pasta and spent 13 euros. The only thing I would skip next time is the cupcake. Everything else was exceptional. Also available were focaccia, pizza, breadsticks, ham, meat and potatoes, beer, and croissants. Recommended.
