The hotel is gorgeous, rooms are comfortable with great views and staff is beyond kind. One caviat, if you have a hard time going up stairs you may want to request to be put on the second floor instead of the third as they do not have an elevator. For most it shouldn't be a problem as they also have a small one for luggage only. The most fantastic is the breakfast. The first day I had to leave at 6am so before the breakfast starts (7am). It consisted of an awesome selection of local breads, croissants, yogurt, hyper-fresh fruit salad, espresso, fresh orange juice, cheeses, and all of that served with an amazing kindness by the staff!

We were driving out to the east coast and wanted to avoid big cities during a pandemic and regular hotels. This was a great option because you could park directly outside your door and take your dog out easily; the place is dog friendly! While the rooms are tiny, if all you need is a place to stay, then it won't matter. It's really clean and enough can't be said about the incredibly friendly service. The grounds are well kept and despite being right in a residential neighbourhood, it's really quiet. The bathroom looks updated in the last few years and the fridge and microwave are really handy to have in your room. We arrived in January and the thermostat was only set to 12 degrees Celsius so it was pretty cold and took a while to warm up but we arrived early enough to make it comfortable before bed. The only bummer was the (tiny) TV.. it never worked and was 'updating' the entire time so we set up our laptop to watch a movie before bed which wasn't ideal but not really what we came for.

Clerk can switch between french and english easily. Documentation available. Parking area available and free. Very nice historical sites. Lots of foundations to see. Lot is huge! Go visit the "Devil's Flame" and try to light it up! The bad: The main house is a very short visit (takes about 30 minutes, max). Upstairs of the main house is empty (they had a coal "exhibit", but it was something like 10 information boards in an empty room). You HAVE to get your car out of the parking lot by 5pm (closing time), even though they invite you to still view the foundations, but where should you park? If you love historical landmarks, this is definitely a nice visit.
