This is a good old fashioned TV repair shop and very much reasonably priced. If you are not too sure about things TV, Video or DVD then the engineers in this shop will give you as much help as they can. Pricing is very reasonable too.

We like to think we're pretty savvy when it comes to paying the right price for the right stuff, and having done a fair bit of shopping around, have settled on Island Bathrooms quite a few times as they have an excellent showroom, knowledgeable staff and internet-beating (or at least matching prices). Despite this, I hesitate to give them 5 stars because although some of the staff are really friendly and helpful, others can be a bit 'offish' and on the few occasions when we've had problems with stuff, although we haven't caved in, both myself and my husband have felt that a bit under pressure to back down and accept what had been supplied.

Mr Paul Cutler may be able to do his plumbing and electrical job but make sure first to have a…read morewritten estimate, itemising what he should do and every cost, otherwise you could end up like me being asked £200 for 2 hours work in total AND he did go up and down my drive very slowly a lot of times to his van for tools! Phone estimate was £60 for gas safety of the boiler and the sitting room gas fire and £40/hr for lighting work. He fitted a lampshade, a light switch and two wall lamps but £200 can't be explained, I did not feel to challenge him as I was alone at home, just gave him a cheque. I know for a fact that when I paid a third party for gas services he was the one sent and was doing a very quick gas safety checks, filling a form at the end, that's why I knew Mr Cutler. Instead, this last time paying him myself, when he finished the job he got a laptop and a printer out, again going up and down my drive, and I even offered him a cup of coffee, little that I knew I was going to pay for this time too! By the way, as soon as I was distracted he started to dismantle the pretended coal from my fireplace, and I NEVER asked him to do it and he never asked me first. He so wasted 20 minutes or so for a not required not wanted job that in the past he never mentioned.

They are a reliable team, always on time, polite and easy to contact. They always quote in advance of bigger jobs and even when our last job ended up taking a few more hours more than it should, they didn't move from the original quote. You wont mind another company as honest and reliable in the area, we spent many years being let down and ripped off prior to getting in touch with GS Country services!
