The day of paving, Isaac Sr. talked me into adding an additional area (apron) of asphalt, telling me it would save me money. I agreed to the pricing as I understood it, but his pricing information was miscommunicated. When I questioned the final price, he was adamant that I misunderstood, and reiterated that they had saved me money. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and paid the asked total. When I measured everything afterward, and figured cost per square foot, they had not saved me money. When I spoke with him to discuss it further, he must have called me sweetheart 5 times, while telling me I must not know how to measure non square shapes (I do). Bottom line, get everything in writing from them, in advance of any work or changes.

We hired Tim Hayes to take down a structurally unsound chimney and replace a damaged concrete deck around the pool of a house we had just bought in Rehoboth. We kept adding to the scope of work the entire project and the job also got more involved as problems revealed themselves which required drainage, masonry repair, carpentry repair, swimming pool repairs, etc. At the end of it all, what we ended up with was a stamped concrete deck with a random stone pattern and each piece individually stained. Tim and his crew did a fantastic job. Everyone who comes over remarks on how beautiful it turned out. Tim is not only an excellent craftsman, he is truly an artist. He takes pride in his work and it shows. I just wish I could give him six stars.

I sent him about $3600 and then I noticed there were all kinds of errors and discrepancies in the estimate. When I asked him to remove the demo cost because I would do it, he raised the amount of tile and materials to compensate so the quote would be the same price. I realized he was trying to scam me and I canceled the job. He never returned my deposit. I reported him to BBB and still he will not pay me back. He also does his own positive reviews as you can see on Yelp, Google and Houzz, with his own name. This company is a scam.
