I agree with Sue, horrible place to go. Especially if you have previous injuries, they don't care,…read morethey're just there to ripoff your insurance and give you minimal care. Son was there for 6 days go no help and was put in a cell room with nothing in it. They had him on a bed with little padding even tho they knew he had a broken back.Even dogs aren't treated that bad. We finally got him out of there and to a real facility, but now we have to start all over to get him back to moving again. If your hurt or sick, tell ambulance crew to take you to York hospital. PS Biddeford isn't any better as they're the same medical group.

One doctor here tried sending me to a chiropractor for my broken back and also tried to convince me that thyroid problems were actually anorexia. Another doctor billed Medicare for a full office visit for my father, when all he did was respond to an email to tell me we could discuss hospice in a few weeks at his appointment. I bypassed Dr. Incompetence and arranged hospice myself, and my father passed peacefully 2 days later. Shortly after that, I get a bill from the dcotor, charging me for their dismissal of my father's needs. Go elsewhere if you appreciate actual healthcare.

My husband and I are Boston-area physicians with a home in the Lakes region. We visited the…read moreEmergency Department this past weekend, in the middle of the night, and the care was excellent. We were seen immediately. The facility was modern and clean. The staff were professional, kind, and moved my husband's evaluation along quickly. We were updated with important information regularly. My husband had to return to the ED several hours later, not through their oversight but because he realized he needed the intervention they originally offered him that he had declined. They couldn't have been nicer. We left feeling very confident in the care (and we are very familiar with emergency rooms!) and would not hesitate to return - RHB

The WORST experience in my life!! My husband and I were in a motorcycle accident. I had a head…read moreinjury (blood running down my head) and had to wait in the hallway for an hour for a CT scan. I was told that my husband's injuries were worse than mine so they gave him a CT scan first (he had bruised ribs!!)...and they put him in a room. WTF! They did not wipe off/clean the area on my head around the wound; just gave me stitches and was told to go home. What is wrong with these people?? After receiving CLEAR stitches on the side of my head (who uses clear stitches??) , they told me that I was "good to go home". They did not suggest staying overnight. They never gave me an xray on my arm (it turned out that it was fractured). I asked about a sling since my arm hurt. They looked at me with a blank look. My shoulder and knee were all scraped and bruised. These were not addressed. They never discussed aftercare with us...just gave us some paperwork and we were told to go home, with dried blood on my head. There were a lot of people in the waiting room, so I guess that they were more important than a bloody head injury. DO NOT EVER GO THERE !!!
