We were so impressed by their work ethic and pride in what they do we hired them to construct a terraced wall. Their attention to detail and overall construction was impeccable. As usual they left the job site in better condition than when they arrived. The crew is friendly and hard working taking pride in the quality of the end project. No matter the size of the job requested they do their very best. That's saying a lot because once finished they have added value to our property well above the very fair contracted price. From inception to completion we have never been disappointed. We highly recommend Ala Landscaping.

The association reached out(2-3x) and requested a call back inquiring whether they would be coming to shovel eventually or not. Nobody ever responded. Some of the owners ended up shoveling the several inches of snow for the entire walkway around the property so that the disabled and elderly had a way to get in and out of their condo and downstairs to their cars. To say we were disappointed with the company's lack of service and response is an understatement. Had we received a response in any way, my review may have been better. The charge for service is comparable for the area, but the quality of service and dependability is very poor.

A few days after they planted, we had some grass seed wash out due to heavy rains so we emailed to check on what type of grass seed they used so we could replant. The day after the work was performed it rained, it was pretty heavy but we did not have any kind of storm warnings associated with it. Most of the hydro mulch grass seed washed away to edge of work area. We called the next day and asked them to come take a look. As far as I know no one did. After another call they said lets just wait for a few days keep watering and let's see what it does. After a few more calls and about three weeks all we had was weeds. When I called they said that for $380 they could come kill the weeds and replant grass seed.

With my yard being cut one direction one week and another direction the next. What happened in reality was their equipment didn't fit through my gate, so the backyard had to be push mowed. On occasion the crew forgot the mower and had to come back, twice I had to call. Today I received a bill with a $20 charge for blowing the grass clippings off of my yard because it wasn't cut for 9 days and it was long. Not my fault, they cut the grass on their schedule. I complained about this charge and also about the poor service. Paul, instead of being professional, cancelled my service. He didn't try to make it right or call, he just sent me an email that my service would be canceled.
