I would highly recommend this place! I've been to a few other nail salons in Danbury and they were terrible. I came across this nail salon and decided to give it a try. I was able to make an appointment for a gel manicure that morning. When I first arrived it was a little confusing since there were two doors but I was welcomed the second I walked in. I told them I had an appointment and they sat me down right away with some color choices. The women really took her time making sure that everything was perfect and it definitely was. From the cuticles being plucked straight down to the even coating of the nail polish. She even made conversation with me which was something that has never happened at other nail salons. Horrible experience here- The workers talked about me in their language and I knew this because a friend of mine was with me and understood them. They made us wait 2 hours and after they finally started on my nails, they cut too much of my nails and made my skin bleed. Won't be going back here. read more

Starting coming here a few months ago. The price is good and the gel fill I got with Shine was the best I have had in along time.... after trying a lot of different places. Always treated good , very friendly staff and they are licensed!!! Would highly recommend them!! My daughter uses Tina and feels the same way. I always make an appt. very busy salon. read more

Oh my god!!! I went to have my nails done today with this girl name Ivy. First she never said hi,just sent me to sit down. She couldn't stop looking at her arm all the time(she had a bunch of scares on it) She put my hands in the water Didn't ask that shape I wanted File my nails way too short When she was removing my cuticles she cut two of them and it was leaving a little bit she never cleaned and just put the nail polish on She didn't clean the parts that was supposed to be cleaning after painting my nails The owner look at reviews this is what I have to say This girl it's not professional at all you should ask her to do your nails then you're going to see what I'm talking about!! I have been going to Lavender Nails for many years. It is one of the cleanest nail salons around and that's one reason I keep going back. I find most of the staff very friendly and courteous. I have problem nails and make an appointment with the same person all the time, but many people just walk in. If you are there at the right time, you might be treated to a wonderful back and shoulder massage. read more

Do not go here they are absolutely unprofessional rude and disrespectful I called here prior to driving to make sure that they can take me and I told him that I was on the way-when I arrived they told me to pick my colors I tried the colors on my shellac manicure and sat there for 15 minutes waiting for my turn then two other ladys stepped in and said they have an appointment in another 15 minutes after I had been sitting there for 15 minutes prior-and the man in the salon told me "sorry lady it's going to be a while" after I had already been sitting there for 15 minutes and had called ahead! My manicurist had a nail fungus on her thumb!! The other nails looked like crap, hang nails and all. Smocks were dirty, and get this, I noticed when she was almost done, that the tray that held the instruments were filthy! They were taken from the sterilizer, but the tray was disgusting. I think the reflexology is the best deal in town and everyone is so very kind. My only complaint is the gentlemen who do the reflexology do not wash their hands upon leaving the restroom. (yes you can hear) and one is constantly trying to bring up mucus in his throat in backroom without shutting door. gross and a little dsitracting while trying to relax. last time it was non stop. the place is very very clean though and owner very nice. read more

Stumbled upon this salon by accident and it's been the best. I love Shine , the owner. He does exactly what I want and is so personable. I won't go anywhere else. Nikki is my go to gal for pedicures and waxings. I had an issue when I first went and shine came over and took me into his chair to make sure I was happy and since that I've been hooked. The place is always clean and the tools sterilized. I am also in the beauty industry so I am very picky about where I go. Remember people not every person is great for every person. Just bc you didn't like one operator doesn't mean you won't like another. read more
