I could tell they were very busy but even when we called for them, they told us to wait and never came back to us. The menu does not have any English, and the staff did not really help us with that. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing! We got some coffee and this salami with bread, which were fine but we've had better coffee elsewhere. I'm not sure if I will come back here.

I recently stopped here as it was one of the few places open on a late Sunday afternoon around…read more5:00pm for a mid day snack before hopping on my train at the Lausanne train station. Their menu highlighted Movenpick ice cream, waffles, and paninis. My husband and I each grabbed a waffle with a scoop of Movenpick (creme brulee). Usually, there is only one flavor of waffle to chose from - normal. However, this place offered a apple cinnamon waffle. The waffles are pre made and left waiting for someone to pick them. My husband's was warm, but hadn't asked for his to be reheated, and I chose the apple cinnamon which I had reheated on the grill. The reheating made all the difference. I was really enjoying mine, and while my husband liked his, it wasn't as good. The reheating made all the difference in the world. The ice cream itself was Movenpick perfection. Also, extra kudos for extremely friendly service done with a smile. Interesting note: while this place doesn't have a website, they do have some promo videos on you tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWLEaF1KaGA.
