I had a medium sized load of laundry to do and not much time. The Tintoreria did an "express" load for me. I dropped it off at 2 pm and picked it up the same day at 8pm. It cost 25.00 euros, which was much, much cheaper than asking the hotel to do it for me. If you have more time, and you can pick up your laundry in a day or two, the cost will go down considerably... Great little self-service laundromat. There are quite a few washers and four large dryers. You buy tokens in the gas station, then follow the simple instructions on the wall. You don't even need to bring your own soap or even handle any as it automatically fills itself once you start the program. Apparently the washers always run on 35-min cycles (according to the signs) and you just choose the temperature. You choose the temperature of the dryer as well, and although my choice of medium heat resulted in a 25-min cycle I can't say if that would be the same for other temperatures. It does say no synthetics in the dryers, though, so take note if that's relevant. The washers say they can take 7kg but the dryers are absolutely enormous, perfect for bedding, towels etc. I paid 12€ for two 8-kg loads and one drying session (they didn't weigh it or anything, that's just what it says on the receipt). During the wash session the washers seem to be locked for the most part (front-load, so opening them would result in a huge mess at the very least) but I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to open the dryer mid-cycle if that's something that matters to you. There are two plastic chairs there if you want to wait around and a nice huge folding counter which I greatly appreciated. Visited on Oct 28, 2014.
