In my opinion, Dr. Passeri is incredibly unprofessional. Every time I have visited her office she has made rude, highly offensive comments about my teeth knowing full well that my dental condition is the result of both heavy alcohol consumption in my younger days and a traumatic injury to my mouth. To add insult to injury, she makes these comments in the presence of her receptionist, hygienist, and other patients as well. Incidentally, the receptionist has demonstrated knowledge of my dental records outside the scope of what she should have access to. I can only speculate as to how she came by this information, but none of the possible scenarios provides any comfort in regards to my legally entitled privacy. Additionally, Dr. Passeri has discussed my private medical information with my spouse in my absence and without my permission, which is a direct violation of HIPAA guidelines. I put up with all of this for quite some time because, as is the case with most people, I don't particularly like switching providers. However, during my last few visits she was particularly verbally abusive to me and thus I have discontinued the use of her services. read more
