When I went back to have their mistake fixed, instead of owning it, I was met with attitude like it was somehow my fault or like I should've just taken the loss. After nearly two decades of giving them my business, that's the treatment I got. On top of that, their prices have gone up significantly. Stretched out button holes, it had become incapable of keeping him snug, cozy. $8 per to tighten them = snug, cozy. I truly would have messed up this repair. ALL items cleaned with care, packaged appropriately ready to be worn this coming fall/winter. Short term drop-off/pick-up parking at entrance off of Westwood Boulevard and Holman Avenue. We usually walk to Sterling Cleaners for drop-off but pick-up via our car(s). Made the mistake at pick-up by parking in an employee only zone. Fortunately, thanks to efficient staff, I was only in an employee's space for mere minutes. Whew! Check-in on Yelp but there's no longer a discount along with it. When I mentioned this we were given a 25% off neighborhood courtesy. Sterling Cleaners now prefers a Google review but I'm gonna stick with Yelp.

I left the coat Thursday afternoon, with an anticipated pick up on Monday. Friday morning I received a message that the coat was ready and that I could come get it. When I returned, Friday afternoon, the owner remembered me and knew right where my coat was. It was promptly brought to me...and looked fantastic! Of course, a quote is dependent on material, difficulty, etc., so I did not complain, but quote versus actual prices ended up being almost double. For a satin, a-line, unlined dress, this price was higher than what any from my group of bridesmaid with the same dress paid at other places. When I came in to pay and receive the dress she again upped the price by $5, making my total $115, which I found out after, was not the price given on my receipt when the dress was dropped off ($110) The actual work was fine and did the job, and the shop owner was very nice, but I do not think I would return here after my own personal experience.
