Machines are easy to navigate, and washers stay locked until the end of the cycle. Those that accept credit card payment are clearly marked and we were able to figure out the credit card keypad the first attempt. Richmond Road Laundromat offers self-service machines as well as an in-house service and to be honest the cost isn't that different. Sometimes I'll wash items at home and just take them here to be dried. Linen, sheets, towels etc - knowing they can be dry and folded in under an hour makes me do a little dance on the inside. It's the small things, ya know! The service is friendly and polite, and it doesn't break the bank.

Washing softner and powder is also cheaply available. You can then dry your clothes for only $1.50 per ten minutes. Not too many chairs to take a seat at so you may have to wander along the road to the bakery or pub, though you are the only security against theft of your clothes, so depends on your trust of your fellows in the laundromat.
