Clean and organized. Even though I was the only one in the center, the assistance was impersonal and perfunctory, i.e. No attempt to understand your interests to steer one to attractions of interest. I was just pointed to attractions listed in the map. Not helpful. Reading travel guides was more helpful. Wasn't even told about the free Tiger Bus that runs loops to the town's featured spots.
No aboriginal cultural emphasis in Launceston at all.
First impressions matter and this experience didn't put Launceston in good light. read more
