I have great hesitation about returning to this place again, and I've been putting off writing this…read morereview for quite a while. I thought the front office staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and professional. Like a reviewer below, I wasn't able to get in as fast as I'd hoped, but - given the circumstances of the world right now - I didn't let that bother me too much. This clinic is close to home and convenient to drive to. I had been working with their PTA, Brandie, who unfortunately was condescending and visibly annoyed while working with me. She would giggle after making passive comments about me/my performance in order to present the comments as playful, which was extremely unsympathetic considering my physical situation and level of pain. I felt like she was mocking me. At one point she even angrily snapped "I'm trying to help you!" when I winced during therapy. I don't believe any professional should be snapping at patients simply for having a reaction to the pain. That's part of the job and a big part of therapy. I guess my facial expressions displeased her? Strange. If I decide to return I will be requesting to work only with other staff.

The facility is good sized and has a lot of options for recovery in the way of pool, machines, massage, and floor equipment . I was lucky to get to work with Chris who has helped me through a number of challenges. I went in with a walker and now I am back to getting on with life as usual. I am healthier, stronger, and more flexible. Chris would listen to me when I said I found pain and we would work to remove it and keep on going. He would keep the workouts always changing and so it was never boring. Biosports has a lot of trainers. If you don't click with yours you could always ask for another one.

I also just have a ridiculous amount of tension on the right side of my body; to the point of getting numbness in different extremities for weeks on end. Bruce is my saving grace. I've seen plenty of chiropractors over the years, but there isn't anybody that helps me like Bruce does. He's incredibly knowledgeable with his understanding of muscle and tissue and has conveyed it to me in ways I understand, and when it comes to what he actually does, it's somewhere between a chiropractor with x ray vision, a physical therapist, an incredible massage therapist. I've never had my whatever "cracked" here, and I have to say I'll never go back to a typical chiropractor again. Also, no weird spiritual stuff like a lot of these places, just medicine and friendly smiles. Really though, Bruce worked with my local trainer to come up with a plan, and in a 3 month period we had directly targeted a lot of my problem areas causing them to finally let go, increased muscle mass in those areas, and I literally stood about an inch taller, with almost no back pain what so ever. He even did a session with my wife in the room, showing her how to best address my back at home. I send people to see Bruce if they mention some sort of muscle issue, because the first appointment is free (I'm pretty sure it still is). A good majority of my tension and pain has gone, but I still keep going because what he does leaves me feeling really relaxed, and it helps me stay on top of any issues. Tall guys, go see him, he's a tall guy too.

I didnt want to do addictive drugs to relieve the pain. My daughter in law told me about Dr. Laird and how wonderfull he was. I was skeptical at first but finally decided to try him out. Let me tell you the way he manipulates my muscular system has left me almost without pain. He also explains what he is doing so even somebody like me can understand him. If you suffer from aches and pains i highly recommend Dr. Laird he has helped me turn my life around from almost being bed ridden to be an active person once again.

Voluntary stay between 3 - 7 days and I guarantee you it will be nearer 3 days because they try to get rid of you as soon as they can because of limited beds and high demand, many times it will be full and you're SOL if you have a mental health crisis. Building is an old elderly assisted living home that dates back to the 80's and it shows, instead of tearing it down and rebuilding from scratch they just remodeled the interiors. Just goes to show you what kind of place it is, they just care about money. Facility doesn't believe in patient's taking Adderall because apparently it makes them harder to control even though I repeatedly told them it wouldn't make me Hulk out, that I need it for my depressed energy levels. So if you take Adderrall you have a cold turkey withdrawal to look forward to. Also the staff stole my Adderrall after giving me some malarkey about not being able to look at my medications they handed back to me during discharge even though that never happened before during my other visits discharges. You don't even get to see a Dr. face to face, just a zoom meeting through a laptop, Dr's aren't even on the facility, just a bunch of counselors & staff who are just glorified baby sitters. By their own admission they aren't interested in long term care. Group counseling sessions were a joke giving very surface level mental health advice. Yeah I don't need to see some handouts about being grateful like I'm a child at Bible school. I wanted to kill myself and these meetings weren't helping, most patient's didn't even bother showing up to them.
