A terrible company, with so many internet providers out there, please go elsewhere!…read more Easynet used to be a lovely company, we used them since 2008, but then in 2013 Easynet were acquired by MDNX it started ripping of customers! It started with little rip offs. 1, Easynet MDNX called and asked if we would like to pay a rip off fee to double our speed, we refused. Then we found out that because the local BT exchange is being upgraded, it would happen anyway. So they would have ripped us off with a price far more than market price and Easynet MDNX would have had to give us this higher speed anyway. 2, Totally screwing us up on the billing, wrong time periods, amount, they even changed the details of the product they were selling us. After 4 months of crazy aggravation we got it back to what it was before. Many people and accounts departments cannot work out all this complicated internet stuff. So I in my experience, loads of people will not have realised what has been done to them and Easynet MDNX will be creaming money of them! 3, Then even though we had been with them for 8 years, they are now a monster. Their new company ripped us off with a totally uncompetitive above market rate cancellation period that once gone past December have to be locked in for the whole year. There are so many other options to Easynet MDXN, so please go elsewhere. To make matters worse, MDNX are now buying other internet companies such as Solution1, the internet arm of Viatel, CI-Net, Octium. Equistone Partners Europe Limited the venture capital fund is behind it with funding them, if you are against how bad Venture Capital firms buy things and screw customers over, then this is a perfect example.
