I had my lashes done at the Fortitude Valley Salon a while ago... I rebooked at the time of having them done only to cancel it the minute my eyes stopped burning (3 days later) and I was able to see the damage done to my natural lashes.
My eyelashes were so clumpy (I think they used a few tubes of glue per lash!) it looked like I had used 10 year old mascara, and like I said my left eye literally burned and watered non stop for for 3 days! Not something I would expect from a salon that is meant to specialise in lash extensions!
I have had two sessions (infills) at another Brisbane Salon located at New Farm, and I haven't looked back, it is actually nice to have your lahes done without your eyes feeling like they are going to burst into flames, plus the damage done to my lashes (i.e. left with bald spots... great look!) is finally starting to grow back / repair.
I want to warn other ladies... do your research! Just because they say they specialise in lashes, doesn't mean they are any good at doing it, learn from my mistake!
I won't risk ever going back there or recommending the Fortitude Valley salon to anyone. read more
