I have had them in the past to preface. This appointment took less than 30 minutes which is pretty quick. The perm used and packet of serum I was given after was definitely the same product you could order on Amazon. After a few days about 80% of the "curl" had fallen. Back to my point about how the appointment wasn't very long. Also there was no natural curl. The lashes were literally at a 90 degree angle. And then my lashes started breaking off. I would never go back. I gave 2 starts and not one because the tech was nice. But otherwise do NOT recommend.

I called on a Saturday and usually most places are extremely busy and booked for weeks out. The receptionist was able to schedule me today since there was an cancellation. I come in and the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. You can tell they take pride in their presentation and they had customers coming in and out which let me know people were pleased. Jessica was the one who did my facial, I decided to get the dermabrasion to help with some scarring and discoloration I was having. Jessica was extremely profesional and knowledgable about what was best for my skin. She took her time and actually made this session so relaxing that I actually went to sleep, LOL! It was so peaceful and the rooms are set up to make you feel rested and comfortable. The sessions are about an hour and you can instantly see the improvements. Like most places they try to sell you products but here that did not happen. Their honesty and professionalism will make me a recurring costumer. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I wanted to just shave them off to begin with but it felt like part of the process to see what damage they actually caused. Well, my hair was broken, weak, damaged and thin, unrecognizable as my hair. I posted on Facebook looking for help! I requested someone to help me style my new found locks but i needed a more private setting than a full salon. Nikki messaged me and asked me a ton of questions about my hair and what i wanted. I explained that i felt like it needed to be shaved and just start over. She asked me to come in the following day but i asked if there was anyway she could do it the same day because i had an event to go to the next day and i feared how i looked. she agreed. she met with me after her final client then stayed until almost 9pm trying two styles hoping i could save some of the hair but i ended up just having it all shaved- and i love it and i love her for being so sweet, so caring and genuine and i really enjoyed our conversations while we hung out for over 2 and a half hours!
