I've been a client of LaserAway for the past few years and honestly, this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had. I initially signed up for 8 full-body laser treatments and later purchased 5 more. Each session consists of two 1.5-hour appointments (one for upper body, one for lower). To date, I've completed 12 full sessions--24 individual appointments--and spent nearly $10,000. After all that time, effort, and money, I actually have more hair on my body than when I started. Each appointment takes hours to prep for (shaving everything takes forever), and I need days to recover from the irritation. The emotional toll this has taken is huge. I committed to this process expecting long-term results, not increased hair growth and weekly trimming. I've voiced my concerns to their management multiple times, and their response has been to suggest buying even more sessions--no accountability, no explanation, no willingness to help. I recently consulted a plastic surgeon who believes the issue may be due to the wrong settings being used on me. After looking into it more, I've also found many other people online reporting the same problem. At this point, I feel completely let down. I trusted LaserAway with something very personal, and they've done nothing to correct the situation despite my repeated attempts to get answers. I paid over $2,000+ for 10 Brazilian and underarm hair removal sessions only to find myself in the exact place I started...shaving multiple times a week and still having hair growth. I was told when I signed up that I would be hair-free after my 10 sessions. I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of communication regarding my laser settings and progress. I kept being told "oh you'll notice more in a few sessions." But I am still very much growing hair at a regular normal pace pre-hair removal. I feel like I was scammed out of a LOT of money. This my own experience. My face was damage after the laser treatment. The attached pictures show post and before treatments. 1. I bought a C&B package with 6 treatments this year. 2. The first 3 treatments went fine. The staff there were nice. I was about to leave a positive review. 3. After I went to for my 4th visit, my face burned and became dark brown. I strictly followed the instructions to avoid the sun. I cancelled all my meetings and public events because of my face damage. 4. I reached out to laseraway, the nurse suggested that I obtain a prescription for my skin. 5. Since then, there has been some improvement but my skin has not fully recovered yet. I still have 2 unused treatments in my package but I am scared to continue the treatments due to the severe damage that occurred on the 4th visit. I requested a refund for my unused treatments. The director, Monica, called me saying this was due to my face and there would be no refund based on the contract I signed. They could only offer 2 hydra-facials. I wasn't satisfied with this because: 1. The price for Hydra facial and C&B are not comparable. C&B is priced much higher. 2. They didn't consider cost of the cream I had to use to repair my burnt skin 3. They didn't consider the damage caused to my life. It was 100% caused by them- if I didn't do that last treatment, I wouldn't have had this issue. Monica has not responded since then. This practice needs someone who listens and understands customer's needs, and promotes a positive and friendly environment that customers enjoy coming back. read more

Be aware if you are getting THERMAGE. This was my third Thermage, never had this experience- getting my jaw real swollen. There were some red flags with it. Usually with Thermage, they put a grid on your face first before starting. But when the nurse came in, she told me she had a lot of experience and won't be needing the grid. I was skeptical because even when I got it done from a experience doctor, he had to have the grid. I should've been more firm to tell her that I'm not too comfortable skipping a step, but I trusted her and went with it. The swelling started day two and lasted over two weeks close to three. It was severe swelling, like someone sucker punched and beat up my jaw. I was really concerned with the large swelling, so contacted Laseraway, instead of trying to be helpful, they sounded like they were trying to avoid any potential legal issues, stating things like "we've checked the voltage usage and everything was with standard" "the total energy used was within the range" "We checked it in the nurse, and all the procedures were done properly." So disappointing and I wonder how they select their nurses and how qualified they are. read more

If you know what you want and how your skin fairs after each treatment-this place if for you. The prices are the same as a dermatologist would charge so my only reason for a visit here is because my Dr. is booked out for months. I will say some of the nurses are better than others. As of recently, I have gotten lucky to get the same nurse for my last two treatments and she has been lovely. Very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. I don't think their skincare quality is top notch so be sure to have all your good products at the ready to support healthy recovery and to combat any side effects. Great communication and rapid response, called in on Saturday and started my first treatment on Monday.
