Laser Kombat is slightly out of the city centre, so you would have to take a bus to get there.
There is a big arena, with plenty of places to hide. One game lasts 20min. All this fun for just under £6 - completely worth it!
We played a game where everyone against everyone, as we were only 4, we joined another group, and I believe it's much more fun than if it only was just us.
After the game if you did a good job of shooting and not being caught, you could see your score. Unlike some other places I have been to, you can't see who you shot and who shot you, but maybe it's for the best!
Now, to downsides. When I called a day before to ask whether we need to book, we were told no, it's fine, just walk in. When we came (at 5) we were told that we should have booked, but they will let us play. However, we can join only one game - and have us a choice of two times- one around 5.30 and another at 6. I didn't quite why we couldn't play two, but didn't mind too much, as games are surprisingly tiring.
Also, we had to leave our bags at the stuff discretion - no lockers or anything. These particular staff were very nice and I felt comfortable leaving things with them, but overall I'm not sure it's a good idea! read more
