Decided to try this place out as a quick bite from Cancun to Chichen Itza. The restaurant is in a cute little colorful alley way (P.S. Would highly recommend walking around Valladoid if you have time as it is so cute with all the colorful houses, etc.). Seems like we were the first customers there that morning, and the owners were all incredibly nice and greeted us with friendly faces.
- Cubana - Um.. amazing? They put so many different things in this sandwich including black beans, a fried chicken patty, jamon, egg, guacamole, etc. It was the perfect combination of everything you would possibly want in a sandwich - full of flavor but it not overpowering, sweet and salty, wet and dry.
- Salchica - I didn't like this sandwich as much as I felt like there were a bit too many sausages in it which made it kind of on the saltier side.
Overall, highly recommend trying the Cubano. Also, everyone who was working there was so incredibly nice. The food did take a bit to cook, however, we waited around 20 minutes for 4 sandwiches. read more
